Hi! I’m Dr. Jiselle, a licensed naturopathic doctor, with a clinical focus on digestive, hormonal and mental health.
Through evidence informed and traditional medicine I support people navigating:
Perimenopause and menopausal health
Digestive health
Stress, burnout and nervous system repair
Working with people I deliver culturally sensitive, trauma informed care that supports and honours where you are at in your journey. It brings me joy to help people understand their symptoms, and navigate them with naturopathic care and their own connection to their body’s wisdom, as they uncover or remember the tools, practices and supports to feel better.
Outside of working as an ND I regenerate and restore through regular doses of nature by large bodies of water, tall trees, and walk softly on earth, whenever possible.

The following is a list of different appointment types to help you select which appointment best suits your needs.
Naturopathic Initial Visit:
At the initial naturopathic consultation we will spend 75 minutes learning about you. Here you can review your health concerns, note your goals for health you would like to see.
It’s helpful to arrive provide medical history, and list of any medications and supplements you are currently taking via the intake form ahead our your session.
At the end of the visit, you’ll receive initial recommendations and assessment recommendations that may include symptom tracking/observations, lab testing or health surveys or questionnaires.
A more in depth plan will follow at the second consultation.
Naturopathic Care Plan & Check-in Follow Ups:
Your Care Plan is rolled out in more detail at your second visit which is 45 minutes. Here we will go through any lab findings and initial observations .
Check In appointments are 15 and 30 minute sessions. These offer a moment to touch base, regain momentum with your care and answer brief questions that arise.
Follow up Appointments are 45 or 60 minute sessions. These may be booked for your second visit, to address a new concern following a recent appointment in the same calendar year, or to dive deep into your lab results and other assessments as part of your ongoing care.

Most people will come for three sessions in their first three months - the Initial Intake, an extended visit to review labs as part of a care plan follow up, and if needed a check in visit.
For acupuncture (BC only at this time), reiki and somatic sessions you may only need the one session or multiple over a period of time.

I support people navigating menopause, and reproductive health challenges.
I also help many people with digestive, and mood concerns related to anxiety, stress and burnout.
Often this care ripples to support their partners, family, friends and community members. As a health care provider, I offer trauma informed care from an anti-oppressive framework. I provide a safe and culturally sensitive space for people who experience marginalization in care including BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+.
If you feel called to work with me it would be my honour. You are welcome here :)

FAQs

“Deep medicine, for us, is the understanding that health can no longer be viewed as something we can try to get as individuals. We have to understand that health must be attained in the context of our communities, of our families, where we are in our societies, and in relationship to the web of life.”
